TabTrade — What It Is
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is not narrow.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set once it is live.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform quote a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and what you get is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Regulation
Here is the thing that matters. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. But inform your decision.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
Tab Trade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before bonus funds can be taken out. Review the fine print before you commit.
